I liked this case and it was really nice to see the black org again, but it would've been really nice if this was actually expanded on, if something actually came from it, or just if it were mentioned again!! Like it just feels like all of that happened for no reason. Like they could've just put some generic disk there and kept the real one and open it later, like another comment said, that way we'd actually know what the program was and it'd have an impact on the story!!

yeah i gotta agree with you and the other guy, a programmer who doesn't have a few dozen blank CD-R/W disks around is no serious code monkey! well, at least Gin and Vodka didn't get the ENTIRE program they wanted, the poor dead guy was smart enough to not finish it.

mhm, i knew Conan was going to dive into a locker at the last second. shrug. that was the ONLY place he could reliably hide himself. he couldn't have easily clambered up those lockers and hidden atop the last row. i'm just damn surprised Gin even thought to check inside any of them.

as to how quietly Conan could have gotten into one of those lockers... shrug! while they were talking i doubt they would have heard anything easily. if i remember how those lockers work, you can open and close them freely as much as you want. it's when you want to lock them that you: close the door, put the required amount of change into the slot, then the key is free to turn and lock the door. then you can take the key with you to retrieve what's in the locker later. the key is stuck in the keyhole and won't turn either, till you close the door and put the change in.

hmm. as to the result of this case? meh!? i dunno. it's not a draw, but like i said before just a few episodes ago, when it comes to the BO .... NOTHING ever comes out the way Shinichi wants it to! ;)

although i thought my idea of getting the cops to pile atop the jewel thieves' position was much better than Shin's.

Gin is really on another level, smart, perceptive and cautious. Conan got lucky he stopped going after his hunch because it was illogical.

And they're in Tokyo now so its in their juristiction but the robbery happened in Gunma, the cops are gonna have to communicate right? So what are they gonna do when asked about a grandfather and a kid named "Shinichi" only for Yamamura to say that it was Hakase and "Conan" in the car? They probably won't address it, but it'd be interesting to see Conan try to get out of that situation. It's like Hattori calling him "Kudo" in front of other people and trying to cover it up lol.
